About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a Assistant Manager – Analytics & Reporting to join Dubai Holding Asset Management. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

Business Engagement & Requirements

• Engage stakeholders to understand business questions, decisions, reporting needs and success measures.
• Translate needs into clear KPIs, metrics, business rules, data requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Ask relevant questions, challenge assumptions constructively and identify unstated requirements.
• Maintain concise requirements, metric definitions, data dictionaries and decision records.

Dashboard Design & Development

• Create dashboard concepts, Figma mock-ups and wireframes based on user needs.
• Apply strong data visualization, user experience and storytelling principles.
• Design and develop Power BI dashboards, semantic models and DAX measures using Microsoft Fabric capabilities.
• Ensure solutions are accurate, intuitive, secure, performant and actionable.

Delivery Ownership & Collaboration

• Own assigned BI initiatives from requirements and design through development, testing, release and support.
• Work independently, manage priorities and communicate progress, risks and dependencies proactively.
• Maintain continuous interaction with business users throughout delivery and improvement cycles.
• Coordinate with project management, data, application, architecture, security and support teams within IT.
• Understand the application landscape, source systems, data flows and delivery processes.

Team Leadership, Quality & Governance

• Plan and assign work to BI developers, provide clear direction, monitor progress and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Review dashboards, models, DAX, documentation and testing results, while remaining hands-on when required.
• Lead data validation, user acceptance, stakeholder sign-off, deployment and post-release support.
• Apply BI standards, data governance, access controls and consistent KPI definitions.
• Promote accountability, teamwork, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Analytics or a related discipline.
• Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Fabric certification is preferred
• Relevant enterprise experience in BI, analytics, reporting and dashboard delivery.
• Proven ability to independently manage stakeholders and translate business questions into metrics, user stories, data requirements and dashboard specifications.
• Hands-on experience delivering Power BI dashboards from concept, Figma design and development through testing, release and support.
• Experience coordinating BI developers and working across business and IT teams in a multi-system landscape.
