Assistant Manager - Asset Infrastructure Design
Assistant Manager – Asset Infrastructure Design is responsible for designing, planning, and delivering enterprise IT infrastructure solutions that support business objectives. The role leads technical coordination with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring infrastructure projects are delivered securely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational standards. It also drives continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies and contributing to infrastructure strategy and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Vendor Management & Delivery Governance: Lead and govern vendor implementation activities, ensuring compliance with project scope, quality standards, timelines, security policies, and organizational governance requirements.
- Infrastructure Design & Technical Solutions: Review and validate infrastructure designs, provide technical guidance, resolve installation and design challenges, and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and business requirements.
- Technology Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies, evaluate industry best practices, recommend infrastructure enhancements, and contribute to the organization's IT strategy and digital transformation initiatives.
- Technical Project Management (TPM): Act as the Technical Project Manager for assigned infrastructure initiatives, coordinating between internal stakeholders, business units, consultants, vendors, and asset contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Asset Infrastructure Planning: Support the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure assets, ensuring scalability, reliability, performance, and future business readiness.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project managers, architects, and business owners to gather requirements, communicate project progress, and manage technical expectations.
- Risk, Security & Compliance: Identify technical risks, ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements, and implement mitigation plans throughout project delivery.
- Project Governance & Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design standards, implementation plans, project reports, and governance updates while ensuring proper change management and knowledge transfer.
- Operational Readiness & Handover: Ensure infrastructure solutions are fully tested, documented, and operationally ready before production handover, supporting smooth transition to operations and support teams.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor infrastructure performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements to enhance availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Experience: 4+ years in infrastructure implementation, and management, including ELV
Skills: basic knowledge on Networking, Compute, storage, visualization, security, ELV / ICT, problem-solving, and communication.
Attributes: Analytical, adaptable, collaborative, and able to work independently.
