About the Job:

• Portfolio Performance Management:
• Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual performance of hospitality assets against approved budgets, forecasts, KPIs, business plans and operator submissions.
• Review hotel operating statements, management reports and owner reporting packs to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key performance drivers.
• Prepare asset performance updates, dashboards, executive summaries and analytical materials for senior management review.
• Financial Analysis & Business Planning:
• Support annual budgeting, reforecasting, five-year business planning and asset management planning cycles.
• Analyze profitability, cash flow, owner returns, market positioning and value-creation opportunities across the portfolio.
• Build portfolio-wide analytical models covering performance trends, capital allocation, investment returns and portfolio optimization opportunities.
• Conduct ad hoc financial and commercial analysis to support executive decision making and investment prioritization.
• Investment Analysis & Feasibility Support:
• Support the evaluation of new developments, acquisitions, management contract opportunities, branded residential projects and strategic investment initiatives.
• Assist in preparing feasibility studies, financial projections, investment appraisals and commercial assessments for proposed hospitality and mixed-use developments.
• Develop and maintain detailed investment models, including DCF, project IRR, equity returns, stabilized yield, payback analysis, return hurdles and sensitivity scenarios.
• Support preparation of EMC, investment committee, Board and executive approval materials through clear financial analysis and commercial recommendations.
• Conduct market demand assessments, supply analysis, benchmarking and competitive positioning reviews to support feasibility and investment decisions.
• Assist in evaluating development assumptions, including ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, operating margins, development costs, financing assumptions and return requirements.
• Portfolio Analytics & Data Intelligence:
• Perform portfolio-wide trend analysis across financial, operational, commercial, market and investment metrics.
• Identify emerging risks, opportunities and performance outliers through data-driven analysis.
• Support automation and enhancement of reporting processes using data visualization, business intelligence and analytical tools.
• Asset Management Plans & Business Review Materials:
• Support the preparation, consolidation, review and tracking of asset management plans, including executive summaries, financial KPIs, historical financials, outlook, value creation, capital plan, market positioning, room product and other required sections.
• Coordinate with asset managers and relevant stakeholders to ensure AM plans, business review meeting packs, minutes and supporting materials are complete, accurate and filed in the correct folders.
• Maintain trackers and completeness checks to monitor progress, highlight gaps and follow up on pending inputs.
• Capital Planning & Investment Evaluation:
• Assist in preparing, reviewing and analyzing annual and five-year CapEx plans, project briefs, scope documents and investment justifications.
• Evaluate major CapEx proposals, business cases and value-enhancement initiatives, including financial returns, commercial rationale, risk considerations and stakeholder requirements.
• Track major projects and support post-investment performance reviews, including comparison of approved assumptions against actual performance where required.
• Operator Oversight & Framework Support:
• Support the review of operator performance against business objectives, approved plans, management agreements and reporting obligations.
• Assist in maintaining and applying asset management frameworks, checklists, reporting templates and standard operating trackers. Coordinate follow-ups with hotel operators, internal asset managers and support functions to ensure agreed actions are captured and progressed.

About You:

• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, private equity, asset management, real estate investments, hospitality investments, or investment banking.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, valuation methodologies, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, capital allocation, and key operating and financial performance metrics.
• Experience working with investors, lenders, private equity firms, asset managers, hospitality ownership groups, hotel operators, or corporate finance functions is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience preparing investment memoranda, board and executive level reporting, business cases, asset management strategies, CapEx evaluations, feasibility studies, financial models, and investment recommendations is highly desirable.
• Education / Professional Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Technical Competencies:
• Advanced Excel financial modelling and analysis skills.
• Strong PowerPoint and executive presentation capabilities.
• Financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis and business planning.
• Investment appraisal techniques including NPV, DCF, IRR, ROI and sensitivity analysis.
• Hospitality performance analysis, hotel P&L review and KPI monitoring.
• Portfolio reporting, dashboarding, benchmarking and market intelligence analysis.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality asset management processes, management agreements and operator reporting requirements.
• Data visualization and reporting tool experience preferred
