As Assistant Manager, you will work with leading banks, fintechs, DFS providers, regulators, and global donors on high-impact projects that influence financial inclusion, SME growth, digital finance, and sector transformation.

At MSC, your work will directly contribute to policies, partnerships, and solutions that create meaningful impact at scale.


  • Lead the day-to-day execution of specific project work streams or entire small to medium-sized assignments for BFSI clients (e.g., FIs, donors, regulators).
  • Design and oversee primary and secondary research, ensuring methodological rigor in data collection, analysis, and synthesis of insights.
  • Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Develop high-quality, client-ready reports, presentations, policy briefs, and other deliverables, providing critical analysis and actionable recommendations.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of high-value, complex proposals and concept notes for a diverse portfolio of donors including but not limited to: FCDO, EU, UN agencies, The Gates Foundation, and major private foundations.
  • Work collaboratively with finance, MEAL, and technical teams to ensure proposals are financially sound, log-frame aligned, and incorporate robust MEAL frameworks.
  • Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including local NGOs, government bodies, financial institutions, UN agencies, and private sector actors.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by supporting donor engagements, client presentations, and market research.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory developments, and innovations in the consulting domain.
  • Represent MSC professionally in meetings, workshops, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and network for new business.

  • Expertise in the full project cycle, from contextual analysis and theory of change development to proposal writing and logframe design.
  • Effectiveness in managing client and key stakeholder relationships.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's & Master's in Economics/Finance/Business; Minimum 5 years experience in financial services in Bangladesh; expertise in financial inclusion/DFS/SME finance; strong regulatory knowledge; analytical, communication skills
