Assistant Manager - Digital Marketing
Must-Have Skills & Experience
· 5+ years of hands-on experience in Digital Marketing.
· Strong expertise across all five core areas:
o Campaign Management / Performance Marketing
o Website Handling & Maintenance
o SEO
o Analytics & Performance Reporting
o Social Media Management
· Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads.
· Strong knowledge of website CMS platforms, website updates, landing pages, UX, and basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
· Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and content SEO.
· Excellent understanding of GA4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, and Looker Studio.
· Experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Similarweb, or equivalent tools.
· Experience with CRO, landing-page optimization, and A/B testing.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing metrics including CPL, CPA, CAC, CTR, CPC, conversion rate, ROI, and ROAS.
· Strong practical knowledge of AI/Generative AI tools and their application in digital marketing.
· Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and project-management skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Campaign Management – Performance Marketing
· Plan, execute, monitor, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and relevant third-party platforms.
· Manage campaign budgets, targeting, keywords, creatives, landing pages, and conversion tracking.
· Optimize campaigns based on CPL, CPA, conversion rate, lead quality, ROI/ROAS, and pipeline contribution.
· Conduct A/B testing of ads, audiences, creatives, and landing pages.
· Work with Sales to improve lead quality and marketing-to-sales conversion.
2. Website Management & Maintenance
· Take end-to-end ownership of the company website from a marketing perspective.
· Manage regular website updates, content changes, landing pages, forms, banners, CTAs, product/service pages, and other website requirements.
· Ensure the website remains accurate, updated, functional, fast, secure, and user-friendly.
· Identify and coordinate resolution of broken links, technical issues, tracking issues, UX problems, and performance gaps.
· Work closely with developers/designers or external agencies for website enhancements and fixes.
· Monitor website performance, traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates.
· Ensure website changes follow SEO, UX, analytics, and conversion best practices.
· Continuously identify opportunities to improve website experience and lead generation.
3. SEO
· Own and execute the organization's SEO strategy.
· Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, content-gap analysis, and search-intent analysis.
· Manage technical SEO, on-page SEO, content SEO, internal linking, and off-page initiatives.
· Monitor rankings, organic traffic, search visibility, and organic conversions.
· Identify and resolve technical SEO issues including indexing, crawling, page speed, Core Web Vitals, metadata, redirects, canonicalization, and site structure.
· Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, AI Search, and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
4. Analytics & Reporting
· Track and analyze performance across paid, organic, website, and social channels.
· Use GA4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio, and other analytics tools.
· Ensure accurate tracking of campaigns, conversions, events, and UTM parameters.
· Build regular performance reports and dashboards.
· Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to improve digital marketing performance.
· Measure marketing performance against KPIs, ROI, lead quality, and business outcomes.
5. Social Media Management
· Manage the organization's social media presence across relevant platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
· Develop and maintain the social media calendar.
· Coordinate content, creatives, campaigns, and publishing.
· Monitor engagement, reach, traffic, and lead-generation performance.
· Identify relevant trends and opportunities to improve brand visibility and engagement.
· Ensure consistency of brand messaging across digital channels.
6. AI, Automation & Marketing Technology
· Use AI and automation tools to improve campaign management, SEO, content, analysis, reporting, and productivity.
· Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and AI-powered marketing platforms.
· Identify opportunities to automate repetitive marketing and reporting activities.
· Stay updated on AI Search, Generative AI, GEO, marketing automation, and emerging MarTech.
· Continuously evaluate new tools and technologies that can improve marketing performance.
7. Competitor & Market Analysis
· Monitor competitor activity across SEO, paid media, websites, content, and social media.
· Identify market trends, opportunities, and best practices.
· Benchmark digital performance and recommend improvements.
8. Agency & Vendor Management
· Manage external digital agencies, developers, designers, and marketing vendors as required.
· Define requirements, timelines, KPIs, and deliverables.
· Ensure quality and timely execution of outsourced activities.
