Assistant Manager, Expenditure, Up $6K
Duration: 6 + 6 Months Contract
Work Location: Changi, 5 Day work week
Responsibilities:
- Be the main contact on open eInvoice/SAP issues. To co-ordinate information flow, to and from Division Users, Vendors and Service Providers. Ensuring that root cause is found and fixed on a timely basis without compromising payment when it is due.
- Ensure approved urgent payment requests are highlighted to relevant payment processors for quick turnaround.
- Involve in month-end and year-end closing activities (eg, posting of accruals, variance analysis, preparation of schedules).
- Handle daily processes like validating, posting of journals, mass uploads, reclassifications, reversal or rejection of payables in ERP systems.
- Reconcile Singtel SOA and follow up with Singtel and Div users on disputed items to ensure there is no stoppage of service
- Validating employee claims, reviewing reports generated and taking appropriate action where necessary.
- Investigate Data Analytics reports provided by Internal Audit and the various Apps. Ensure that any issues identified are resolved.
- Review reports prepared by the Senior Associates
- In addition, you will endeavour to provide excellent customer service to all internal and external business stakeholders and ensure that queries are answered promptly.
Requirement and Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience or Degree in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification with minimum 5 year of relevant working experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience for a large organization.
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications, comfortable using Power Query, Pivot, Power Point etc. Experience in using SAP would be an added advantage
- Responsible, with an eye for detail, analytical, self-motivated and highly organized
- Good business partnering skills, self-driven, resourceful team player with hands-on approach to problem solving
- Strong collaboration mindset and interpersonal skills to be able to work well and provide strong support to both internal and external stakeholders.
