Assistant Manager/Fully Licensed Cosmetologist
Description
ASSISTANT MANAGER
WORKING SERVICE LEADER
Lead the standard. Develop the team. Deliver a world-class client experience.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Head Spa is building a new standard in scalp and hair care - combining luxury hospitality, advanced service execution, education and a deeper understanding of strand and scalp health. We are looking for an experienced Drybar professional who is ready to grow beyond exceptional blowouts into leadership, team development and the future of professional hair and scalp care.
01
ROLE AT A GLANCE
This is a hands-on assistant management role. You will continue serving clients while leading the team, protecting standards and helping the location perform. The role is designed for a leader who enjoys being on the floor, loves developing people and wants to expand their own knowledge at the same time.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years of Drybar experience required
ROLE TYPE
Working service assistant manager + location leadership
LEADS
Client experience, team execution, standards and daily business performance
GROWTH PATH
Advanced education in strand health, scalp health, consultation, products and leadership
02
WHAT YOU WILL LEAD
We have built the operating system. Your role is to bring it to life through five clear leadership priorities.
CLIENT EXPERIENCE + WORLD-CLASS SERVICE
Set the tone for hospitality from the first greeting through consultation, service, education, checkout and follow-up. Coach the team to make clients feel known, cared for and confident - never processed.
PEOPLE + CULTURE
Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, daily coaching and performance development. Build a team that is polished, accountable, kind and proud of the standard it delivers.
SERVICE + TECHNICAL STANDARDS
Lead by example on the floor. Protect blowout quality, consultation standards, service timing, sanitation and consistent execution while continuing to strengthen your own technical knowledge.
BUSINESS + DAILY OPERATIONS
Keep the location organized and calm. Monitor staffing, schedule flow, client recovery, inventory, compliance and the daily controls that allow the business to run exceptionally well.
SALES + RETENTION + GROWTH
Understand the numbers and coach healthy performance in rebooking, memberships, retail, referrals and client retention - always through education and trust, never pressure.
IMPORTANT
This is not a desk-only assistant manager position, and it is not a role where the Manager is expected to do everything personally. Great leadership at The Head Spa means staying close to the client and team while creating strong people, clear standards and consistent follow-through.
