What You’ll Lead

As an Assistant Manager in Bedford, NH, you help ensure Goldfish Swim School runs smoothly, safely, and with consistent lesson quality. This role exists to support daily operations alongside the General Manager and leadership team while keeping families’ experiences front and center.

Key responsibilities include overseeing staffing and performance, partnering with deck staff and swim instructors on scheduling, student progress, training, and service needs, supporting cash management and administrative reporting, and guiding retail/vending and birthday party operations to Goldfish standards. You’ll also help implement the Emergency Action Plan and safety procedures, and keep certifications current.

What you’ll bring:

- Strong organization and clear communication
- Comfort working with kids, families, and a fast-paced team

A Typical Shift

Your day blends time on the pool deck with front-desk check-ins and quick problem-solving. You’ll connect with families as they arrive, touch base with instructors between classes, and keep an eye on how the building is flowing—from the lobby to the party area. Mid-shift, you may jump into the office to review schedules, bookings, or reports, then head back out to support the team through peak lesson times. Before you wrap up, you’ll help close out the facility, confirm the next day is set up for success, and leave notes so the team stays aligned.
