Assistant Manager - Information Technology

  1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Accountabilities Major Activities
  • Provide Level 1&2 production support for Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.2.10) with help of vendor partner
  • Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for support issues.
  • Perform incident analysis, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and permanent issue resolution.
  • Manage service requests, incidents, problems, and change requests through ITSM tools.
  • Support Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end financial closing activities.
  • Coordinate production deployments and post-production verification.
  • Ensure minimal business disruption during planned and unplanned outages
  • Act as the primary IT contact for Oracle EBS users.
  • Understand business requirements and provide timely functional and technical support.
  • Troubleshoot user issues and resolve application problems within SLA timelines.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with business users until complete resolution.
  • Maintain high user satisfaction through proactive communication.
  • Provide application guidance, knowledge sharing, and end-user training.
  • Support onboarding of new users and business process adoption.
  • Have knowledge on PL sequel data queries, query to identify technical issues.
  • Prepare functional test scenarios and perform unit testing.
  • Support testing for
    • System Integration Testing (SIT)
    • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
    • Regression Testing
  • Coordinate defect resolution with business users and implementation partners.
  • Validate fixes before production deployment.
  • Create, modify, disable, and reactivate Oracle user access.
  • Create and maintain responsibilities, menus, request groups, profile options, and role assignments.
  • Assign and revoke responsibilities based on approved access requests.
  • Ensure Segregation of Duties (SoD) compliance and least-privilege access.
  • Support employee onboarding, transfers, and separation activities.
  • Perform periodic user access reviews.
  • Remove inactive or unauthorized access.
  • Maintain complete documentation and approvals for all access
  • Support Internal Audit& External Audit
  • Provide user access reports, responsibility matrices, security reports, audit evidence, and system logs.
  • Manage vendor tickets and service requests.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual

business processes.

  • Drive digital transformation initiatives using Oracle technologies, AI-enabled solutions, and workflow automation.
  • Prepare and maintain documents for
    • Functional Specifications
    • Technical Design Documents
    • SOPs
    • User Manuals
  • Maintain issue logs, RCA documents, and support documentation.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for support teams and business users.
  • Assist in in other Non-ERP application implementation and rollout.
  • Manage employee travel expense management system.
  • Manage Automation projects in assist in productionize.

  1. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech., MCA, M.Sc. (IT), or equivalent qualification.
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable
  • Purchasing (PO)
  • Inventory (INV)
  • Oracle EBS Functional/Technical Certification
  • Support experience in Oracle travel and expense management system
  • Python and Oracle Apex experience is preferred.
  • Automation of business processes through various tools will be an added advantage.
