Assistant Manager, IT PMO

Overview

We are looking for a PMO to manage end-to-end AI and enterprise integration implementations. The role requires a mix of technical understanding, client coordination, project execution, and vendor management.

The ideal candidate should be able to work with clients, development teams, and third-party vendors while driving projects from scoping to production rollout.


Responsibilities

  • Possess a solid understanding of industry best practices related to IT architectures, including Telephony, Networking, Cloud Computing, and Information Security
  • Support the planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure and solution projects
  • Assist in preparing technical responses for RFIs/RFPs and contribute to solution design and pricing inputs
  • Gather and analyze client requirements and help propose suitable IT solutions aligned with business needs
  • Coordinate with internal teams and support client interactions during project execution
  • Assist in managing project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
  • Create and maintain project schedules
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues, and escalate when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to organizational processes, compliance, and project governance standards

Qualifications

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of relevant work experience in IT solutions, infrastructure, or project delivery
  • Basic to intermediate understanding of Project Management practices and frameworks
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is an added advantage
  • Good understanding of networking and telephony concepts
  • Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/MySQL) and software development concepts
  • Familiarity with Project Lifecycle (Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Closure)

Core Competencies

  • Ability to support project initiation and planning activities
  • Exposure to project scoping, scheduling, risk tracking, and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience in preparing and maintaining project documentation (project plans, risk logs, status reports, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with project management and issue tracking tools
  • Ability to work in Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid project environments
  • Basic understanding of product design thinking and feature breakdown
  • Good communication skills for working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks or small projects concurrently
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments
  • Awareness of organizational processes and compliance requirements
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
  • Basic stakeholder and conflict management skills

  • Strong documentation and technical writing skills
  • Ability to quickly understand new domains and business requirements
  • Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work in different time zones (including Eastern Time, if required)
