Assistant Manager - IT - The Hoxton Bengaluru City

What you’ll do…

Provide first-level technical support to all hotel departments and resolve hardware, software and network-related issues.
Ensure smooth operation of the Property Management System (PMS), POS, back-office applications and other hotel technology systems.
Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices and peripherals.
Monitor the hotel's network, Wi-Fi infrastructure, servers and security systems to ensure maximum uptime.
Coordinate with external vendors for software updates, maintenance and AMC activities.
Maintain IT inventory, software licences and asset registers.
Perform regular system backups and support data recovery processes.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies, cybersecurity standards and data privacy requirements.
Support audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences and hotel events.
Maintain documentation of IT procedures, system configurations and incident logs.
Participate in IT projects, system upgrades and new technology implementations.
Provide training and guidance to Heartists on IT systems and best practices.

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
2–4 years of IT experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Good knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, networking, Wi-Fi infrastructure and hardware troubleshooting.
Exposure to hotel applications such as PMS, POS and back-office systems is an advantage.
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles and data protection.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
