Roles & responsibilities
As a AM in the Managed Services External & Financial reporting team, your responsibilities will be working with team of consultants and associate consultants for executing projects on behalf of international KPMG teams and clients (onshore teams). In addition, you will be required to:
•Strong background in US Financial reporting with insurance product knowledge and strong finance knowledge(Must)
•Experience in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ledgers, and cash flow (Must)
•Reporting experience on 10K & 10Q(Must)
•Preferred toolset experience with Workiva or Wdesk (Must)
•Regulatory Compliance: Follow GAAP, IFRS, or local statutory accounting rules and tax guidelines(Must)
•Conduct variance analysis, interpret financial trends, and present insights to senior leadership. (Must)
•Research complex accounting issues and draft technical accounting position memos. (Must)
•Ensure all financial reports strictly comply with local and international standards (GAAP, IFRS) (Must)
•Understand client needs and structure capabilities and work to the client expectations
•Monitor regulatory changes and update internal accounting policies accordingly
•Manage engagement delivery and work in collaboration with onshore/offshore team
•Able to create a timeline that takes into account the inter-dependencies of schedules and footnotes
•Adhere 100% to hygiene factors such as timesheets and training hours

This role is for you if you have the below
Educational qualifications
•CA or CPA qualified with minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
•Technical accounting & financial reporting background, preferably with 10K/10Q reporting experience
•Banking/Insurance domain training and certifications

•Good knowledge of Wdesk ,US financial & statutory reports with reference to financial and insurance domain
