The base pay range for this role is $81,795.00 to $106,602.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.

Description
Minimum qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience administering or supporting an LMS, RMS, VMS, or another learning management system
- Up to 15% domestic and international travel as needed
- Experience with system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, user support, or learning technology operations
- Experience supporting learning content deployment and maintenance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify root causes
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to document processes, system requirements, testing outcomes, and support procedures
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, technology partners, or external vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer-focused mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to data quality and system reliability
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and escalate risks appropriately
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Successful completion of the interview process required to meet job qualifications
- Reliable and punctual attendance is an essential function of this role
- The role is based in Chicago and operates on a hybrid work schedule
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrates an understanding of the capabilities and limitations of generative AI tools and effectively leverages them to support research, analysis, content creation, and problem solving. Apply critical thinking to validate AI-generated outputs while adhering to organizational policies of responsible AI use, data privacy, and security
- Experience administering or supporting Cornerstone LMS
- Experience supporting enterprise learning platforms in a large, complex organization
- Experience with learning system integrations, data feeds, reporting, or user provisioning
- Experience with learning content standards and digital learning technologies

About the job:
The Assistant Manager, Learning Experience & Processes, serves as a primary system administrator for United’s learning management tools. This role supports the configuration, administration, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the systems used to deliver and manage learning across the enterprise.
Core accountabilities / key responsibilities:
Administer and optimize United’s learning management tools, including system configuration, access, assignments, curricula, notifications, workflows, and ongoing platform maintenance
- Support the deployment, testing, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of digital learning content, platform updates, integrations, and new functionality
- Monitor system performance, data quality, learner support trends, and operational health to identify risks, recurring issues, and continuous improvement opportunities
- Coordinate issue resolution, vendor support, documentation, administrative procedures, and communications with Digital Technology, learning teams, and business partners
- Partner with instructional design teams, content owners, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure learning solutions are delivered effectively, meet business requirements, and support a strong learner experience
- Support learning technology initiatives, roadmap delivery, process improvements, and the implementation of new tools, platform capabilities, and AI-enabled learning solutions
