Manager/Manager - Drafting
Experience Required: 4-5 years

Work Mode: Work from Office
Purpose of the Job: -
The candidate in said role should be able to handle the technical aspects of
patents, i.e., primarily drafting patent applications.
Job Description:
Work Interfaces: -
- To work closely with the attorneys and inventors based in US/Europe/India
- To interact occasionally with external consultants
- To handle any other reasonable task as specified by management
Requirements
· The
candidate must have excellent patent drafting ability, US, EP, IN applications.
· The
candidate must be able to draft claims and review claims for US, EP and IN
Jurisdictions.
· Should
have at least 4-5 years of overall drafting experience, with 1-2 years in a
supervisory role.
· Primarily,
the candidate should be able to draft patent applications independently, i.e.,
the candidate should be well versed with claim and specification drafting and
should be able to individually conduct inventor and attorney interviews.
· The
candidate should have a bachelor or master’s degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Electrical
or Computer Science engineering.
· Domain
expertise in computer technologies and use of AI tools related to drafting is
desirable.
· Experience
of managing a team is preferable.
· Preferably
a Patent Agent
· Other Skills :
· Should have leadership skills and work
as a driving force for others
· Should have decision making and
analytical skills
· Ability to perform under pressure
consistently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines, all while
maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
· Self-motivated and able to perform
duties with minimal supervision
· Proficiency in Spoken/written English.
