Assistant Manager/Manager - Financial Reporting - Insurance

Industry: Insurance / Reinsurance (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS

- Support statutory and regulatory reporting for reinsurance business

- Handling accounting and reporting requirements specific to insurance contracts and reinsurance arrangements

- Coordination with auditors (statutory, internal, and regulatory)

- Ensuring compliance with IRDAI and other applicable regulatory requirements

- Financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, annual)

- SAP-based accounting and reporting activities

- Support in financial analysis, reconciliations, and process improvements

Required Skills & Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6 - 8 years of post-qualification experience

- Strong hands-on experience in IGAAP, Ind AS and IFRS reporting

- Prior experience in Insurance / Reinsurance industry is highly preferred

- Working knowledge of SAP (FICO module preferred)

- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance
