Assistant Manager / Manager of Manufacturing

Responsibilities

· Manage daily production operations to achieve delivery, quality, productivity, and efficiency targets.

· Lead, develop, and engage production teams to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

· Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.

· Monitor and control manufacturing costs while identifying opportunities for productivity and cost improvements.

· Coordinate with Maintenance team to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

· Drive continuous quality improvement activities to ensure that products meet customer specifications and industry standards.

· Ensure timely material availability, accurate inventory control and efficient utilisation of production resources to support uninterrupted production.

· Maintain a safe workplace and ensure compliance with WSH regulations, safety policies and operating procedures.

· Analyse and report production performance, KPIs and operational improvements

· Plan, execute and evaluate audit programmes, including stocktake, to ensure effective internal controls, policy compliance, operational efficiency, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

· Tertiary education in any Engineering discipline.

· Minimum 8 years' working experience in manufacturing environment, of which, 4 years' experience are in a managerial role.

· Proficient in SAP and Microsoft 365 applications.

· Excellent analytical, planning, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

· Knowledge and hands-on experience on production budgeting and control, ISO 9001, safety standards and risk assessment.

· Must have normal colour vision
