Assistant Manager/Manager (Thriving Families)

The role is responsible for leading the team at Thriving Families to advance the work of the integrated children and family wellness centre, contributing to coordinated service delivery, impactful collaborations, and high-quality support for children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Operational management

Support the Head of Thriving Families in:

• The day-to-day operations of Thriving Families.

• Managing centre budgets, staffing, facilities coordination, and administrative functions.

• Ensuring compliance with organisational policies, funding requirements, and regulatory standards.

Programme/ service development and delivery

• Lead the programme team at Thriving Families to design, implement and continuous refine the Thriving Families service model and introduce practical, evidence-based programmes to improve children and family wellbeing.

• Contribute to public education initiatives that strengthen prevention, parenting support, and children and family wellbeing.

Evaluation and monitoring

• Support the establishment of outcome measures, indicators, and relevant KPIs to track and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of programme and service delivery.

• Leverage data, research insights, and feedback loops to strengthen service models at Thriving Families.

Partnerships and engagement

• Support the Head in fostering strong collaborations among co-tenants at CONNECT @ City Square Mall

• Build and sustain strategic relationships with community partners to expand outreach and impact.

Leadership and supervision

• Supervise, coach, and mentor team members to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.

• Support the Head of Thriving Families to set performance goals, provide performance feedback for junior staff members, and ensure alignment with organisational competency frameworks.

• Support in promoting staff wellbeing, cohesion, and professional development.

Others

• Any other duties or responsibilities as directed by the Head of Thriving Families

• Subject to the operational needs of the centre, staff member may be rostered on weekends or evening duties

Requirement
• Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or related disciplines.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience, including 2 or more years in managerial position

• Strong ability in programme or service design and stakeholder engagement.

• Competency in data-driven decision-making, outcome measurement, and service evaluation.

• Deep understanding of Singapore’s family and child welfare ecosystem

• Good leadership, interpersonal, communication and planning skills.
