Position Summary

Manage end-to-end O&M activities of EHV transmission lines.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual maintenance plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and reliability improvement programs.
• Ensure transmission line availability targets are achieved as per regulatory and organizational requirements.
• Monitor network performance, outages, forced trippings, and line health indices.

• Implement condition-based maintenance (CBM) and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices and Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for major outages, conductor snapping, insulator failures, tower damages, and OPGW failures

1. EHV Transmission Line O&M Expertise (400kV/765kV transmission lines).
2. Asset Integrity, Reliability, Line Patrolling Management.
3. Transmission Line Fault Analysis
4. Emergency Restoration Management
5. ROW & Corridor Management

Critical Success Factors - Desirable

1. Maintaining Transmission Line availability of ≥ 99.5%.
2. 100% route patrolling as per approved frequency
3. 100% completion of approved preventive maintenance schedule
4. RCA completed within 7 days for major incidents
5. Year-on-year reduction in line trips and outages
