Culinesse, LLC is looking for an Assistant Manager of Healthcare Dining Services to join our team! A Manager who can lead by example and has experience with leading a dining services team.


The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the efficient operation and management of the dining room. This includes resident seating, service, and meal satisfaction. The general responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, those listed below (under “Tasks”). These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.


This is a highly collaborative position that requires the ability to balance multiple tasks at one time, prioritize, work with diverse constituencies, and address competing priorities in a fast-paced environment


Tasks

  • Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and values of location and Culinesse;
  • Deliver the professional greeting of all clients and visitors, to the highest standards while creating a positive, productive working environment;
  • Monitor, manage and review the catering and cleaning contracts;
  • Ensure the team leaders and dining management coordinate their staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional front of house services;
  • Implement dynamic operational working procedures, to support the delivery of service excellence;
  • Develop strong communication and line reporting procedures to guide service implementation making improvements or changes where required;
  • Implement safe working practices to ensure safety of building occupiers, staff, and visitors;
  • Design efficient continuous improvement training programs to achieve all objectives and maintain control on POS according to all procedures while always maintaining customer and resident satisfaction;
  • Design and implement an efficient promotional campaign for dining venues and provide training to all staff;
  • Assist to recruit and select appropriate employees for all dining venues and required training to maintain knowledge on all menu items;
  • Administer everyday operations of dining venues to ensure standards are being met;
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Working Conditions

  • This position is a full-time role;
  • Full-time benefits include (but are not limited to): health, dental, life, vision, and long term disability;
  • Generally in an indoor setting;
  • Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays, weekends and extended hours as business dictates;
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily in a controlled, temperate environment; however, may be exposed to heat/cold during support of outside activities;
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
