Assistant Manager Outlet In Room Dining - Fairmont Agra
- Oversee all aspects of in-room dining operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences and service excellence
- Manage and supervise the in-room dining team, including scheduling, training, performance management, and professional development
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food and beverage service in accordance with Fairmont standards and brand guidelines
- Monitor operational efficiency, including order accuracy, delivery times, and guest satisfaction metrics
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations across all in-room dining operations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and refine in-room dining menus that align with guest preferences and seasonal offerings
- Manage inventory levels, food costs, and portion control to optimise profitability whilst maintaining quality standards
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally, implementing corrective actions to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of food presentation, service standards, and room cleanliness
- Analyse operational data and guest feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and revenue enhancement
- Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and guest service delivery
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and local regulations governing food and beverage service
- Minimum 5-6 years of experience in food and beverage operations management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant manager role
- Proven experience managing in-room dining or room service operations in a luxury hospitality environment
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or equivalent professional qualification
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and health regulations (FSSAI certification or equivalent)
- Demonstrated proficiency in hospitality management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities with experience in staff training and performance management
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across departments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in operational data analysis and reporting
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional language skills are advantageous
- Experience working with luxury hotel brands or five-star properties
- Certification in Food Safety or Advanced Hospitality Management
- Experience in menu development and culinary collaboration
