Assistant Manager - Packaging Designer

Summary

Design and develop packaging solutions for pipes, fittings, tanks, and related products, including artwork creation, structural prototyping, and packaging innovation using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

Role Summary

Responsible for designing and developing packaging solutions across Ashirvad's portfolio of pipes, fittings, tanks, and related products. The role will drive new packaging development, packaging refreshes, artwork creation, and packaging innovation while working closely with Product Development and Brand Marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop new packaging concepts and packaging refreshes.
  • Renovate, redesign, modify, correct existing packaging to bring consistency as per brand guidelines.
  • Create packaging graphics, artwork, labels, and communication elements.
  • Develop packaging structures and prototypes aligned with product and business requirements.
  • Work with Product Development teams on new product launches and packaging enhancements.
  • Support packaging material development and innovation initiatives.
  • Ensure packaging designs are production-ready and aligned with brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for packaging execution.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design work.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Experience working with packaging materials, artwork adaptation, and prototype development.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product Development and Marketing teams.
