Assistant Manager-Parts & Service Sales-CMD

Job Summary

To maximize Parts and Service Sales in the Region. & facilitate in developing growth areas in Parts & Service marketing

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead, motivate, and guide the field sales team to achieve agreed Parts and Service sales targets, performance standards, and business objectives.
  • Drive the implementation and execution of Parts and Service merchandising programs through PSSRs and the regional sales force.
  • Implement departmental and regional objectives, monitor progress against plans, and support timely achievement of business goals.
  • Contribute to the formulation of divisional objectives and support regional teams in preparing accurate annual Parts sales forecasts.
  • Monitor Parts performance, identify key issues and improvement opportunities, and develop practical recommendations to enhance results.
  • Ensure effective inventory control practices are maintained and that all relevant policies, procedures, and guidelines are consistently followed.
  • Develop and enhance Parts marketing data, reporting, and analysis to support informed decision-making and assess company performance.
  • Maintain a structured market intelligence system, including competitor profiles and market insights, to support competitive response plans.
  • Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer service issues in the field and workshop.
  • Conduct regular visits to key customers, prepare management reports, and recommend solutions to address customer needs and business challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior representatives of key customers, including top revenue-generating accounts.
  • Organize customer engagement activities, including seminars and open houses, in coordination with the PSSM, RSM, branches, functional managers, and manufacturer representatives.

Knowledge, Skills and Aptitude

• University Degree in Engineering, Sales, or field related to business operations ·
• Hands on ERP experience.
• Dealership experience.
• Business and Financial knowledge, reading P&L’s and driving business to achieve profitability ·
• Cat Parts Commodities knowledge. ·
• Business systems understanding.
• Reporting and Analysis. ·
• In-depth knowledge of and experience with the aftermarket process, budgeted guidelines, and relationship building with suppliers following the EHS policies in all work-related activities.
• Strong communication skills
• Sales skills
• Financial analytical skills and accounting ·
• Fluency in both English and Arabic · Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Engineering background with at least 10 years’ experience in heavy equipment industry, of which 5 years must have been with a CAT Dealer in a similar position i.e., responsible for Parts & Service Sales
