Assistant Manager - Platform Marketing, Digital
Assistant Manager – On-Platform Storefront Merchandising
About the Role
We're looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Senior Executive to join our On-Platform Discovery surfaces team. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of content, data and user experience — you'll be responsible for making sure the right content finds the right viewer, every single day. If you love digging into catalogs, thinking in themes and obsessing over how people discover what to watch next, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
Content Curation & Tray Management
Build and manage thematic content collections — by mood, genre, era, language, cast and occasion — to populate recommendation trays across the platform
Ideate and pitch new tray concepts based on trends, tentpole moments and catalog opportunities
Place and track tray requests with product and tech teams ensuring timely go-live and accurate execution
Partner closely with Content/Studio teams, Marketing, Product, and Design to ensure brand compliance, creative alignment, and seamless execution of promotional campaigns.
Build discovery frameworks for Kids, women’s profile, setting up of Bhojpuri catalogue, deeper engagement in regional catalogue for Bengali, Marathi.
Core focus on catalogue marketing aligned with cultural and topical events to boost catalogue consumption
Experience
2 to 4 years of experience in digital merchandising, content programming, or digital marketing.
Prior experience in OTT/Streaming platforms, E-commerce, or Gaming is highly preferred.
Strong sense of content — you know your genres, you follow trends, and you have a natural instinct for what audiences want to watch
Comfort with metadata and content management systems
Clear written communication — you'll be writing briefs, placing requests, and coordinating across teams regularly
Familiarity with analytics tools or willingness to get hands-on with data (Excel/Sheets proficiency at minimum)
Bonus: experience working with recommendation systems, editorial CMS tools, or content tagging workflows
You'll Thrive Here If You
Can switch between big-picture ideation ("what if we built a tray around 90s nostalgia?") and precise execution ("is this tag correctly mapped?") in the same day
Are naturally curious about user behavior and why people watch what they watch
