Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

Job Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end procurement of yarn and greige materials to support production requirements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and overseas suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
Ensure timely material availability while optimizing inventory levels.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage purchase orders, shipment follow-ups, and import coordination.
Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and ERP processes.
Identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize supply chain risks.
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Management, Textile Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain & Procurement, preferably in the textile manufacturing industry.
Experience in Yarn and Greige procurement is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills.
Sound knowledge of inventory management, import procedures, and supply chain planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems (IFS/SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
