Assistant Manager, Quality Monitoring
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
1. Sales Advisory Standards, Governance & Compliance
- Develop, review and maintain Sales Advisory standards, guidelines, process documentation and governance frameworks.
- Ensure sales advisory practices remain aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies and business objectives.
- Support and coordinate reviews arising from MAS, Internal Audit, Compliance and other governance exercises.
- Track findings, remediation actions and process improvements to strengthen quality of sales advisory and governance.
2. Training & Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain Sales Advisory guides, training materials, FAQs and reference resources.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing programmes for Advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Support qualification requirements and readiness for new product launches.
- Ensure timely communication of changes to sales advisory standards, processes and product requirements.
3. Business Analytics, Insights & Reporting
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement in sales advisory practices and sales quality.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations to support business decision-making.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, including Balanced Scorecard and Mystery Shopping exercises.
- Provide insights and recommendations to enhance sales advisory effectiveness and customer outcomes.
4. Stakeholder Support, Process Improvement & Project Management
- Serve as a key contact point for sales advisory-related enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Support solutioning, issue investigation and resolution of production related matters, working closely with business and technology teams.
- Support new product onboarding, including process readiness, training requirements and stakeholder communication.
- Participate in business, regulatory, and transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness of sales advisory.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and undertake ad-hoc assignments as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Business, Banking & Finance, Insurance or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years experience in insurance, financial services, sales advisory governance, compliance, business support or training functions.
- Relevant licensing examinations : CMFAS Module 5, 6,6A,8, 8A, 9, 9A, and Certificate in Health Insurance; or equivalents will be preferred
- Good understanding of sales advisory processes for both insurance & investments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify insights.
- Experience in developing training materials, procedures or SOP documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in supporting audits, compliance reviews, governance activities, or regulatory initiatives
- Meticulous, structured and detail-oriented.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
