Joining a progressive actuarial division, you will manage statutory calculations and model runs to maintain capital solvency across a growing life portfolio.

  • Prepare quarterly statutory submissions, solvency coverage ratios, and regulatory schedules under the MAS RBC2 framework.

  • Execute valuation runs in Prophet to establish best-estimate liabilities across participating, non-participating, and investment-linked products.

  • Perform stress testing, scenario modeling, and dynamic balance sheet projections to support annual ORSA requirements.

  • Automate reporting workflows using Python, SQL, and VBA while maintaining strict data governance and audit trails.

  • Align underlying valuation assumptions with IFRS 17 methodologies and collaborate with investment teams on ALM cash flow matching.


Skills and experience required

  • Deep familiarity with local statutory capital frameworks, specifically MAS RBC2 guidelines and life regulatory returns.

  • Proven hands-on capability in actuarial modeling via Prophet alongside data automation skills in Python, SQL, or VBA.

  • Solid track record in life insurance valuation or consulting, coupled with active progress toward professional actuarial examinations (IFoA, SOA, or equivalent).

  • Appetite to stretch beyond core valuation into ORSA stress testing, ALM strategies, and broader capital reporting workflows.

  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex quantitative findings to internal management, auditors, and regulatory bodies
