We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D Assistant Manager to lead product development projects in the savory category, particularly sauces and dressings. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end product development, leading technical teams, and working cross-functionally to deliver innovative and commercially viable products. The ideal candidate will be able to operate independently and drive projects efficiently while ensuring product quality and compliance with relevant standards.

• Lead and manage R&D projects from concept development to commercialization, focusing on sauces, dressings, and savory applications
• Setup, development, and continuous improvement of savory R&D laboratory capabilities, including ingredient libraries, application development systems, laboratory equipment, and testing protocols.
• Plan, execute, and monitor project timelines, ensuring on-time and successful delivery
• Independently run product development projects and provide technical direction to the team
• Lead and mentor technical team members, ensuring effective collaboration and capability development
• Develop and optimize formulations to meet cost targets, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Production, QA, Procurement, and Commercial) to ensure smooth project execution
• Conduct product trials, scale-up processes, and troubleshoot technical issues
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
• Translate customer needs into product solutions and provide technical support where required
