Assistant Manager

We’re looking for an Assistant Manager to provide day-to-day operational support to our team in Nambour.

Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team, you’ll play an important role in delivering exceptional service to our customers — the lifeblood of the electrical industry in Australia. A bit about your role

As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the day-to-day operations of the branch while helping to create a positive and high-performing team environment. You’ll:

• Ensure customers receive friendly, efficient and professional service
• Build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and internal and external stakeholders
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to help foster an inclusive and collaborative team culture
• Support compliance with company procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
• Work closely with the Branch Manager and team to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Contribute to branch performance through a hands-on and team-focused approach

We’re looking for someone who brings initiative, a willingness to learn, and a genuine passion for customer service and team success. Ideally, you’ll have:

• Experience in a customer-facing role, with an interest in sales and operational excellence
• A proactive approach and a strong desire to learn and develop your career
• Experience leading, mentoring or supporting others is desirable
• Experience in electrical wholesaling, trades, or the building and construction industry will be highly regarded
