Assistant Manager/Senior Officer (Needs Analyst in Data Engineering Department)

Responsibilities

• Have a deep understanding of the insurance industry to build robust indicator systems, and transform broad management requirements into clear and measurable key indicators
• Analyze user needs and constraints to prepare needs research reports, specifications, prototypes, and related documents
• Partner with design, development, and testing teams to ensure needs are clearly understood and correctly implemented, while ensuring the product meets business needs
• Conduct regular reviews and incorporate user feedback to support ongoing system enhancements
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks and assignments

Requirements

• University graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in needs analysis or BI-related work, plus at least 1 year in product design
• Proficiency in at least one mainstream BI tool (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, FineBI, FineReport)
• Skilled in Axure, MindManager, Visio, and MS Office
• Familiarity with needs research methodologies, including observation, experiential methods, interviews, competitive analysis, and report analysis
• Expertise in advanced computer theories, large-scale databases, project planning and framework design, modular development techniques, and digital transformation practices
• Prior experience of indicator projects in insurance company would be an advantage
• Experienced in DevOps management frameworks
• Candidates with certificates such as PMP or Information Systems Project Management Credentials will be considered a strong advantage
