Assistant Manager, Settlements - Private Bank
A regional bank is looking for an experienced Private Banking Operations professional to join its team. This is a hands-on role covering investment product settlements, corporate actions, payments and operational improvement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities
Process and settle private banking investment products, including equities, bonds, mutual funds, structured products and structured deposits.
Handle corporate actions, position reconciliations and client statements.
Manage SWIFT Alliance activities, including the release of SWIFT payments.
Investigate and resolve issues relating to settlements, remittances and deposits.
Participate in system enhancements and UAT, including supporting user training for new systems and processes.
Identify practical improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce operational risks.
Work closely with Front Office, internal stakeholders, custodians and counterparties to resolve operational matters.
Support other operational initiatives and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant banking operations experience, preferably within Private Banking or Wealth Management Operations.
Hands-on experience in investment product settlements, corporate actions, reconciliations or payments.
Familiarity with SWIFT payment processing and release will be advantageous.
Avaloq knowledge will be an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining effective operational controls.
