Assistant Manager - Technology Procurement
Responsible for end‑to‑end procurement of technology goods and services, including IT hardware, software, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, telecom, and professional services. The role ensures cost‑effective sourcing, strong vendor management, and full compliance with procurement governance
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full procurement lifecycle for IT hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, telecom, and IT services.
- Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
- Conduct commercial negotiations to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
- Coordinate contract reviews with Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, IT, and other stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with strategic technology vendors; monitor performance against SLAs/KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support budgeting, spend analysis, reporting, and market benchmarking.
- Track and manage software licenses, renewals, subscriptions, and cloud consumption.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, IT, or related field.
- 4–5 years experience in technology procurement, strategic sourcing, or IT vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement methodologies, contract management, and sourcing best practices.
- Experience procuring software, hardware, cloud, SaaS, cybersecurity, and IT professional services.
