Assistant Manager, Trade Finance & Operations, Dairy, Singapore
Position Overview:
The Assistant Manager Operations is responsible for managing the logistics and trade operations for selected origins.
What you will do:
- Prepare and execute contracts/sales orders, working with customers & sales team
- Liaise with origin / supplier / own production site to ensure orders are logged and executed as per customer’s requirements.
- Tracking of shipments & documents and ensuring that we meet the KPI’s requirements
- Good understanding of contract management, payment terms and import/export documentation
- Understanding shipping incoterms, as well as basic knowledge of Bills of Lading
- Liaise with banks, shipping lines, suppliers, traders, agents and customers as well as our offices across the globe
- Check and submit all export shipping documents to customers and / or their representative banks
- Basic understanding of the definition and application of both debit and credit notes
- Administration work such as keeping track of Bills of Lading; and regular housekeeping
Who we are looking for:
- Degree/Diploma holder with 5-10 years working experience
- Ability to manage stakeholders and customers at to ensure strong logistics and operations delivery
- Self-driven/motivated individual
- Effective communication skills - verbal/written
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines
