Trailside Kitchen and Market sits in the middle of Keweenaw Waters Resort. Guests come here to relax and explore, and our kitchen is often the highlight of their day. We’re looking for an Assistant Manager who loves hospitality, enjoys leading people, and wants a workplace that’s a little more scenic than the average strip-mall café.

What you’ll do

• Run shifts with confidence: keep the line moving, the team energized, and guests happy
• Coach and support a friendly crew, and help train new team members to be great at what they do
• Help with schedules, ordering, and inventory, so you’ll learn the business side of running a café
• Set the standard for quality, cleanliness, and food safety
• Partner with the General Manager on ideas to improve the menu, the market, and the guest experience

What you bring

• Experience in food service or hospitality (supervisory experience is a big plus)
• A calm, upbeat leadership style, even during a rush
• Clear communication with guests and teammates
• Availability for weekends and holidays, when our guests need us most
