Assistant Manager, Transport (4PL)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation and logistics activities in accordance with site cut-off schedules, customer order CRDD (Customer Requested Delivery Date) requirements, and agreed service levels.

Monitor and prioritize critical shipments, including Next Flight Out (NFO), production-impacting shipments, customer-specific escalations, and factory line-down situations to ensure timely resolution and delivery.

Provide proactive shipment monitoring and exception management, with timely communication and escalation of delays, damages, compliance issues, and other operational irregularities to relevant stakeholders.

Support Business Continuity Plan (BCP) scenarios by maintaining continuous visibility of shipments and providing regular status updates until normal operations are restored.

Prepare, analyze, and distribute operational reports and performance metrics to Intel stakeholders within agreed timelines and reporting frequencies.

Develop, maintain, and continuously improve transportation operating procedures, ensuring alignment with the Statement of Work (SOW), Service Level Guidelines (SLG), and customer requirements.

Maintain a high level of transportation and logistics expertise and provide cross-site operational support and training across ATML sites to promote standardization and best practices.

Establish and maintain effective communication channels with Intel Logistics Operations Management (LOM), carriers, customs brokers, government agencies, and other key stakeholders.

Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide the most efficient and compliant transportation solutions.
- Manage and coordinate all customs-related activities, including import/export clearance, permit applications, duty and tax matters, classification validation, and customs documentation accuracy.

Serve as the primary point of contact for customs brokers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and government regulatory agencies to ensure smooth clearance and compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 to 10 years working experience in field of Logistics, Transportation and
International Freight Operations ( Air/Sea/Courier/Land) Operations in
Technology Sector. - Working experiences in 4PL environment, Key Account Management, and Program will be an advantage.
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in related field with Management experience.
- Good verbal & written communication skills, presentation skills, training skills.
Fluent in English. - Excellent Stakeholder Management skills, analytical and problem solving skills. Good meeting facilitation skills, communicate and effectively work with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Digital skills in spread sheets and word processing for tracking, analysing and
communicating related data. - Ability to input data and create reports, as required in a timely fashion. OTM/SAP skills are added advantage.
