Assistant Manager - Warehouse & Deliveries

The Role: This position oversees daily warehouse operations—including inventory management, staff training, and regulatory compliance—while also executing delivery driver duties to transport goods safely and accurately. It requires a versatile professional capable of maintaining a secure, organized facility and ensuring seamless logistics from the warehouse to the delivery destination.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business preferred.
• 3–5 years of warehouse experience, including supervisory or leadership roles.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and meeting performance targets.
  
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinate cycle and periodic inventory counts and verify results for review by the Warehouse Manager.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure inventory.
• Train new employees, assist with staff evaluations, and maintain up-to-date training records.
• Ensure the warehouse meets all accreditation board and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other department leaders to promote operational efficiency.
• Execute delivery driver responsibilities, including loading company vehicles, safely navigating scheduled routes, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure fleet safety and reliability.
• Keep the warehouse and assigned work areas clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.
