Assistant Mechanic
- changing oil in equipment
- repairing 2 cycle engines on weed eaters
- Overhauls and repairs maintenance vehicles, mowing equipment, and other power equipment
- Lubricates and services all equipment
- Inspects equipment for operating deficiencies and makes routine adjustments where necessary
- Maintains an up-to-date understanding of hydraulic systems, repairs, and their components
- Inspects, changes, and repairs tires
- Assists in controlling tool access and use by maintenance staff
- Cleans working areas after repair work is completed
- Assists in fabrication, body repair, and painting
- Adjusts cutting units on mowing equipment
- Upon completion of equipment servicing, assists on the maintenance crew and may operate mowing equipment
- Assists in training maintenance staff in the proper care and upkeep of golf course equipment
- May be called upon to operate or train to operate various types of maintenance equipment
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Performs other duties as required
- Certificate from a college or technical school
- Must have two or more years of experience with small engine repairs and maintenance
- Must have a valid driver's license

Regular and reliable attendance
- We are looking to hire an experienced assistant mechanic. The individual will also be required to work on the golf course if needed and be trained on how to trouble shoot large equipment repair and grinding mower reels.
