Assistant Men's Soccer Coach
Position Summary
Calumet College of St. Joseph is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and relationship-driven Assistant Men's Soccer Coach with a strong background in recruiting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in building a competitive roster by identifying, evaluating, and recruiting high-quality student-athletes while assisting the Head Coach in all aspects of the men's soccer program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting (Primary Responsibility)
- Serve as the program's lead recruiter under the direction of the Head Coach.
- Identify, evaluate, and recruit prospective student-athletes through high schools, club programs, junior colleges, and the NCAA Transfer Portal.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with club directors, coaches, recruiting coordinators, and player representatives.
- Conduct regular communication with prospective student-athletes and their families through phone calls, text messages, emails, and virtual meetings.
- Coordinate on-campus recruiting visits and assist prospects throughout the admissions and financial aid process.
- Attend showcases, tournaments, ID camps, and recruiting events to evaluate talent.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records and assist with roster management and scholarship allocation.
- Meet recruiting benchmarks established by the Head Coach.
Coaching Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting daily training sessions.
- Provide technical, tactical, and positional instruction during practices and competitions.
- Assist with opponent scouting, match preparation, and video analysis.
- Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes.
- Assist with match-day operations and travel.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling, travel logistics, equipment management, and team operations.
- Help organize camps, clinics, and community outreach initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all NAIA, Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC), and institutional policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
