Assistant MES Engineer (Manufacturing MNC) #HRY

Job Scope

• Provide first-level support, monitoring and maintenance for MES applications, production equipment and automation systems in Singapore and regional APAC sites (China and India).
• Troubleshoot system, machine and automation issues in collaboration with IT, Engineering, Maintenance and external vendors.
• Generate operational reports, extract MES data and develop dashboards using business intelligence tools to monitor manufacturing performance.
• Support MES system upgrades, testing, validation, deployment and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop user requirements, work instructions, training materials and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for MES enhancements.
• Train production users and drive MES adoption, change management and digitalisation initiatives across regional sites.
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Autonomous Maintenance programmes through operator training, audits and digital maintenance tracking tools.
• Identify and implement automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Strong interest in manufacturing digitalisation, automation and Industry 4.0; familiarity with MES, ERP, Power BI/Tableau, SQL or GMP environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams.
