- Lead daily unit operations and assess patient access needs to ensure every family receives safe, seamless and high-quality care.
- Empower and develop nursing staff by managing recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training and performance evaluations.
- Delegate clinical assignments strategically based on staff skills and proficiencies to optimize care delivery and team workflow.
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and conduct clinical audits to elevate unit standards and patient safety outcomes.
- Partner with department leadership to update, align and enforce operational processes across all shifts.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
