Assistant Nurse Manager, Labor and Delivery

• Lead daily unit operations and assess patient access needs to ensure every family receives safe, seamless and high-quality care.
• Empower and develop nursing staff by managing recruitment, onboarding, ongoing training and performance evaluations.
• Delegate clinical assignments strategically based on staff skills and proficiencies to optimize care delivery and team workflow.
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and conduct clinical audits to elevate unit standards and patient safety outcomes.
• Partner with department leadership to update, align and enforce operational processes across all shifts.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
