The Assistant Nursing Officer - Midwifery of Nursery is a key member of the hospital clinical team. He / She works as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, competent, individualized patient centred holistic care to an optimum level by utilizing nursing process. The post holder provides general care to new-borns.
Education and Experience profile
- Diploma in Midwifery from recognized institution.
- Post Basic Diploma in Child Health (Paediatric) Nursing preferred.
- Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council.
- At least three (3) years of experience in the Ugandan Healthcare System.
- At least one (1) year of experience in the field.
