Description
The Assistant Nursing Officer Paediatric Unit is a key member of the hospital clinical team. He / She works as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, competent, individualized patient centred holistic care to an optimum level by utilizing nursing process. The post holder provides medical, surgical, preventative and acute care to children and adolescents.
Education and Experience profile
- Diploma in General Nursing or Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing from recognized institution.
- Post-diploma qualification in Child Health (Paediatric) Nursing is preferred.
- Must be registered with the Uganda Nurses & Midwives Council.
- At least three (3) years of experience in the Ugandan Healthcare System.
- At least 1 (one) year of experience in area of specialty.
