Assistant Performing Artiste Manager
About Us
We're a livehouse — an intimate live music venue dedicated to bringing unforgettable performances to our community. From emerging local acts to touring artists, our stage is where music comes alive. We're looking for a detail-oriented, people-first Assistant Performing Artiste Manager to help us look after the artists who bring our shows to life.
The Role
As Assistant Performing Artiste Manager, you'll support the day-to-day management of performing artistes — from booking and scheduling to hospitality and on-the-ground coordination. You'll be the reliable point of contact that keeps artists comfortable, informed, and ready to deliver a great show.
What You'll Do
- Support the Performing Artiste Manager in coordinating artist schedules, rehearsals, and show-day logistics
- Liaise with artists, bands, agents, and managers on contracts, riders, and performance requirements
- Assist with artist hospitality — greeting artists on arrival, managing green room needs, and ensuring a smooth backstage experience
- Coordinate sound checks, stage timings, and run-of-show details with the production team
- Help prepare and track performance contracts, payment schedules, and artist paperwork
- Maintain and update the artist database, including contacts, availability, and performance history
- Assist in sourcing and shortlisting new performing talent for upcoming shows and events
- Act as an on-site liaison for artists during events, resolving issues quickly and calmly
- Support post-show follow-ups, including feedback collection and relationship maintenance with artists
- Help manage day-of-show logistics such as transport, accommodation, and per diem coordination for touring artists
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in artiste management, event coordination, entertainment, or hospitality (music industry experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple moving parts under time pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills — you're calm, personable, and easy for artists to work with
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working nights/weekends around show schedules
- A genuine passion for live music, performing arts, and artist culture
- Ability to stay composed and solve problems on the fly during live events
Nice to Have
- Existing relationships with local artists, agents, or booking contacts
- Experience with contracts, riders, or basic event budgeting
- Familiarity with scheduling or artist management tools/software
Why Join Us
- Work directly with performing artists and be part of every show from start to finish
- A tight-knit, creative team that lives and breathes music culture
- Hands-on experience and mentorship in artiste and talent management
- Opportunities to grow with an expanding local live music scene
