Assistant Procurement Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, quotation comparison, negotiation and purchasing.
- Manage purchasing requirements for multiple F&B outlets and ensure timely availability of products and supplies.
- Coordinate with outlet managers and operations teams to consolidate orders and plan replenishment based on usage and operational needs.
- Raise purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on pricing, availability, delivery schedules and outstanding orders.
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers and monitor supplier performance, product quality and delivery.
- Monitor inventory and stock levels to prevent shortages, overstock and wastage.
- Coordinate warehouse operations, including receiving, checking, sorting, packing and preparation of goods for outlet delivery.
- Coordinate warehouse-to-outlet deliveries and ensure orders are packed accurately and delivered on time.
- Check incoming goods against purchase orders for quantity, specifications and quality.
- Resolve purchasing, delivery, inventory and product discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
- Work closely with suppliers, warehouse, logistics and outlet operations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor purchasing costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and better purchasing efficiency.
- Review procurement, inventory and logistics processes and recommend improvements where necessary.
- Maintain accurate procurement, supplier, purchasing and inventory records.
- Prepare basic purchasing, inventory and supplier reports for management review.
- Support and guide procurement, warehouse and logistics team members in daily operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in F&B experience.
- Experience handling procurement for multiple outlets is an advantage.
- Good negotiation, communication and supplier management skills.
- Good knowledge of purchasing, inventory and warehouse operations.
- Organized, detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different teams.
