Job Overview
The Assistant Product Manager will manage the strategic growth and end-to-end performance of an assigned product category, covering product development, trade opportunities, market analysis, and visual merchandising.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive growth in category revenue, volume, margin, and market share.
- Lead New Product Development (NPD) from market research through launch and post-launch optimization.
- Optimize showroom displays, retail layouts, product positioning, and assortment.
- Manage prospective client pipelines and commercial trade opportunities.
- Analyze competitors, pricing trends, and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure stock availability, campaigns, and commercial targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fiel, or equivalent professional qualification such as CIM/SLIM.
- 2–3 years of experience in Product, Category, or Brand Management or a related commercial role.
- Experience in bathware, plumbing, building materials, interior products, or premium consumer durables is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with international brands is an advantage.
