The company is a well-established automotive smash repairer servicing a broad range of vehicles in the Inner East of Melbourne. Having been in business for decades, they have developed a solid reputation for continuously producing work of the highest quality and restoring damaged vehicles to their former prestige condition in the best turnaround time frames possible. With recent growth in their business, they are seeking an Assistant Production Manager to join their professional and supportive team.

The Position…

The position is for a knowledgeable and motivated Assistant Production Manager to join the company on a full-time permanent basis, working regular hours between Monday and Friday. Some of the key position responsibilities include:

· Supporting the Production Manager with organising workflow and allocate work to team members

· Scheduling and forecasting work

· Assist with quality checking the repair at each stage

· Work with the Production management team to improve capability and productivity

The Ideal Candidate…

The ideal candidate will have the following:

· Possess a trade qualification (advantageous)

· Have experience in the automotive industry

· Be adaptable and ready to take on a variety of duties

· Maintain a solid work ethic

· Have good time management and organisational skills

· Have a motivated and enthusiastic attitude

· Have a current Australian driver’s licence
