Assistant Professor Mathematics Education-Tenure Track

The University is seeking an individual who is passionate about teaching and inclusive pedagogy; dedicated to developing meaningful, collegial working relationships with students, faculty, and staff across campus; and committed to actively contributing to SCSU's Teacher Education mission. Required qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics Demonstrated experience in the K-12 setting Experience in teaching at the higher education level Evidence of strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills. Effective written communication skills Supervise Math Education students during Field Clinical Experience. Assist in Program Coordination. Teach courses face-to-face on campus. Teach courses online when necessary. Preferred Requirements for Entry into Position: Preferred qualifications include an Earned PhD in Mathematics with experience in K-12. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
