WORK SCHEDULE

Specific times are to be negotiated with Nursing Chair, since faculty may have different schedules with respect to class, labs, and/or clinical times.

JOB SUMMARY

The School of Nursing is seeking a nurse educator with a strong commitment to teaching excellence, scholarship, and innovation. The individual must be able to work collaboratively with a dynamic team, as well as work independently when necessary.

This individual will serve as a member of the School of Nursing faculty with responsibility for teaching within the traditional BSN program.

Specialties of interest: Maternal-Newborn, Pediatrics, and Psychiatric/Mental Health

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

• Teach didactic and clinicals.
• Advise traditional undergraduate students.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Maintain positive interpersonal relationships.
• Actively participate in continuous assessment.
• Serve on committees.
• Additional duties, consistent with educator’s talents and experience, to support the School of Nursing in the achievement of program outcomes.
