As an Assistant Program Director, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing Our Early Learning Center ensuring high-quality programming, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. By , managing staff, and collaborating on program performance, you’ll help create safe, nurturing environments where children, families, and educators can thrive.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee operations and programming in our Early Learning Center.
  • Ensure the program meets Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) regulations and BHN policies
  • Maintain licensing compliance and uphold high-quality standards
  • Focused on play based learning and kindergarten readiness
  • Knowledge of curriculum building that supports Early Education development
  • Lead hiring, onboarding, and training of staff
  • Collaborate with the Senior Program Manager to monitor budgets, revenue, and enrollment
  • Ensure optimal enrollment and program sustainability within the site
  • Provide ongoing administrative and programmatic support to leadership staff
  • Identify challenges, problem-solve effectively, and communicate key updates to leadership

  • An experienced leader in early childhood education with strong operational and supervisory skills
  • Skilled managing, priorities, and teams in a fast-paced environment
  • A collaborative professional who communicates effectively with staff, families, and leadership
  • Organized, proactive, and able to respond to challenges and urgent needs
  • Committed to providing inclusive and supportive, trauma informed care that is culturally responsive to a diverse population
  • Comfortable using technology and supporting others in administrative systems

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing child care programs preferred
  • Must meet EEC qualifications for Center Director
  • Director Certification (Required)
  • Current CPR, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining EEC requirements
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and with diverse groups of children, families, and staff

SALARY- $58K-$76K
