Job Summary

The Engineer manages multiple projects, takes ownership of designs, and drives efficiency improvements. They develop client relationships, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering projects to meet assigned deadlines and deliver quality outcomes
• Take full ownership of project designs and deliverables to ensure accuracy and client satisfaction
• Initiate and implement improvements to enhance personal and team work efficiency
• Communicate clearly with clients and project teams to align expectations and report progress
• Collaborate with team members to facilitate consultation and effective teamwork
• Pursue opportunities to expand knowledge across engineering disciplines to support project needs
• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in Singapore to grow business
• Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with customers to secure favorable agreements
• Prepare detailed and accurate technical documentation for products and projects
• Coordinate project tasks by liaising with engineers, professionals, and technical personnel
• Apply product knowledge to recommend tailored solutions that meet customer requirements
• Deliver persuasive sales advice and presentations on company products and services
• Provide prompt and effective customer service by identifying and resolving issues quickly
• Compile weekly sales progress and field reports to support project and sales strategy decisions
• Work closely with project teams to ensure product specifications and requirements are fulfilled
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned to support business objectives and operational needs

Required competencies and certifications

• Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Proficient communication skills to engage customers and collaborate effectively within teams
• Business-level English proficiency to conduct effective sales outreach and documentation
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and electronic schematic/wiring diagrams
• General knowledge of electrical/electronics, semiconductor, and IoT technologies to support technical tasks
• Positive, proactive, and independent working attitude with responsibility and willingness to learn

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clientele to support business growth
• Logical problem-solving skills and flexibility to absorb new knowledge and handle challenges effectively
